Network engineering
from the Suffolk coast.

We build wired, wireless and one‑off systems for clients across East Anglia. The harder the site, the more interesting the job.

Services

Wi‑Fi & wired networks

Structured cabling, switching and enterprise Wi‑Fi for offices, warehouses, farms and venues. We can arrange the connection too: FTTP, leased lines and dedicated internet access.

Point‑to‑point & long‑range links

Wireless bridges and fibre runs that carry a connection between buildings, across a farm, or over an estuary. Often the cheapest way to get real bandwidth somewhere awkward.

Event & temporary networks

Temporary internet, Wi‑Fi, comms and CCTV for shows and events. Built for crowds, weather and short get‑ins.

CCTV & site security

CCTV with remote viewing and useful analytics, from fixed cameras to motorised pan‑tilt‑zoom and thermal imaging. Specified to your site and your insurer's requirements.

Two‑way radio

Radio systems for sites, teams and events, licensed or licence‑free, with GPS tracking and man‑down options.

Phone systems

VoIP phone systems for offices and sites: IVRs and call routing, wireless handsets, and rugged units for outdoor and industrial use.

One-off systems

Some jobs need something that isn't sold anywhere: a sensor reporting from a field with no power, old gear that has to feed a modern system, a rig that has to run outdoors, unattended, for weeks.

We design and build these as one‑off systems. Hardware and software, all documented so they can be maintained. If your problem doesn't fit a catalogue, describe it to us and we'll tell you honestly whether it can be built, and what it would cost.

  • Off‑grid monitoring and telemetry
  • Custom control and automation
  • Linking equipment never designed to work together
  • Long‑range, low‑power wireless
  • Rapid‑deploy temporary rigs
  • Prototypes and proof‑of‑concept builds

About

East Coast Networks is an engineer‑led company based in Suffolk. The person who surveys your site designs the installation, carries it out, and answers the phone afterwards. Installations are tidy, labelled and documented, and tested before we leave.

Support carries on after the install: remote monitoring where it's useful, and a direct line to the engineer who built the system when something needs attention.
